If you are under 65 and do not get health insurance through work, you buy your own. In Arizona that usually means an Affordable Care Act plan through HealthCare.gov, the official Marketplace Arizona uses, or directly from an insurance company. Viola helps you understand what you qualify for and what a plan will really cost you to use.
Rise Up Benefits Group is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operating on behalf of HealthCare.gov, the Health Insurance Marketplace, or any federal or state government agency. Plan availability, premiums and advance premium tax credits are set by the carriers and the Marketplace.
In clients' words
Viola is so incredible. I’m a husband and father of 2 who never had health insurance because the high cost. I connected with Viola through a job I was previously working at and she got me a quote for $0 healthcare. Literally I’ve paid ZERO dollars. My prescriptions have gone from $40+ to $9. I am literally baffled in the best way possible. Viola is the person to go to. No doubt in my mind. Anytime I am asked about health insurance going forward, I will recommend her always

ACA plans cover the essential health benefits by law: doctor visits, hospital care, emergency care, prescriptions, maternity, mental health and preventive care, and they cannot turn you down or charge more for a pre-existing condition. Plans are grouped into metal levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold, that trade a lower premium for higher costs when you use care, or the reverse.
Many households qualify for a premium tax credit based on household income and size, which lowers the monthly premium. Some people with lower incomes also qualify for cost-sharing reductions on Silver plans, which lower deductibles and copays. Arizona's Medicaid program is AHCCCS, and if your income points that way Viola will tell you. Any number she shows you is an estimate; your final premium and tax credit are confirmed at enrollment on HealthCare.gov or with the insurance company.
Open Enrollment for 2027 coverage starts November 1, 2026. Outside Open Enrollment you generally need a qualifying life event, such as losing other coverage, moving, marriage or a new baby, to get a Special Enrollment Period, and those windows are short. If you are leaving a job, Viola can also lay an ACA plan next to COBRA so you can see which costs less.
The part most people skip is the network and the drug list. Before you choose, Viola checks that your doctors and nearby hospitals are in the plan's network, and that your prescriptions are on its formulary at a tier you can live with. A low premium plan that leaves out your doctor is not a deal.
Education is the point. After you enroll she makes sure you know what you have, how to use it and what it covers: your deductible, what preventive care costs nothing, and what to do before a planned procedure. Families who work with her consistently mention her patience and explanations; she holds a 5.0 rating from 49 Google reviews. Each fall she reviews your plan again, and she is a phone call away all year.
You are self-employed, between jobs, retiring before 65, working for an employer that does not offer coverage, or covering children or a spouse on your own. You want a plan that fits your budget and actually works with your doctors.
No. The premium for a given plan is the same whether you enroll on your own or with a licensed agent, and any tax credit you qualify for is the same too. Insurance companies pay the agent. Working with Viola simply means someone checks your doctors and drugs first and answers the phone later.

Every ACA plan sold in Arizona must cover ten categories of care, and many preventive services come with no copay at all. Here is what is included, what the fine print says, and how to use it.
Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum tell you how a Marketplace plan splits costs with you, not how good the care is. Here is what each level means for Arizona families on HealthCare.gov and how to choose.

Open Enrollment for 2027 Marketplace coverage starts November 1, 2026 on HealthCare.gov, the platform Arizona uses. Enroll by the mid-December deadline for coverage that starts January 1; HealthCare.gov publishes the exact dates each year.
Tax credits are based on your expected household income for the coverage year and your household size. Viola can give you an estimate in a few minutes; the final amount is confirmed when you apply through HealthCare.gov.
Usually only with a qualifying life event, such as losing other coverage, moving, getting married or having a baby. These open a Special Enrollment Period, typically 60 days. Without one, you generally wait for the next Open Enrollment.
AHCCCS is Arizona's Medicaid program. If your household income may qualify, your HealthCare.gov application can send your information to AHCCCS, or you can apply with AHCCCS directly. Viola will tell you if that looks like the right path.
Yes. For 2026 coverage, premium tax credits are generally available only up to 400% of the federal poverty level. That works out to about $62,600 for a single person and $128,600 for a household of four (HHS poverty guidelines).
The extra help Congress added from 2021 to 2025 expired, so some families who had a credit before may not now. Figures for 2027 coverage appear on HealthCare.gov when Open Enrollment starts, and it confirms your final amount when you apply.
The metal level tells you how the costs are shared. On average, a Bronze plan pays about 60% of covered costs, Silver about 70% and Gold about 80%. Bronze has lower premiums and higher costs when you use care; Gold is the reverse.
Silver matters for lower incomes: it is the only level that can come with cost-sharing reductions, which lower your deductible and copays.
Often, but it depends on the plan. Marketplace plans in Arizona use networks, and two plans from the same insurance company can include different doctors and hospitals.
Before you choose, Viola checks each of your doctors, specialists and your preferred hospital against the plan's network for the coming year, and checks how your prescriptions are covered.
Yes. Under the Affordable Care Act, you can keep your children on your plan until they turn 26, whether they are married, in school, living on their own or financially independent.
Adding them is usually done at Open Enrollment or within a Special Enrollment Period. When your child turns 26, losing your coverage opens a Special Enrollment Period so they can get their own plan.
