Privacy & cookie policy

What this website collects, what it does not, and how to change your mind about any of it.

Last reviewed: October 13, 2026

The short version

This site sets no analytics or marketing cookies until you choose to allow them. The calculators run entirely in your browser and send nothing anywhere. The quote funnel sends only the answers you type (ZIP code, age, household size, income band and tobacco use) to our own server so it can look up plans for your county, and it does not ask for your name.

When you contact us deliberately (the contact form, a phone call, a text, or an email), we use those details to help you with insurance, and for nothing else.

What we collect when you contact us

If you go on to work with us on a plan, we will need more: your date of birth, your Medicare number or Social Security number, your doctors and your prescriptions. That information is collected during the enrollment process, held under the privacy rules that apply to licensed insurance producers, and shared only with the carrier and the enrollment platform needed to process your application.

  • Your name and email address, which the contact form requires so we can reply
  • Your phone number and ZIP code, if you choose to give them
  • What you tell us in the message field
  • Your consent to be contacted, which we record with a timestamp

What the quote funnel sends

The plan-finder on this site sends your ZIP code, county, age, household size, income estimate and tobacco answer to our own server, which passes them to a licensed plan-data service to retrieve plans for your area. It does not ask for, and does not send, your name, contact details or any identifier.

No third-party service receives anything directly from your browser. All lookups are proxied server-side.

Cookies and similar storage

A cookie banner appears on your first visit. Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage is set until you make a choice, and analytics and marketing tags are held inert until you allow them.

  • Strictly necessary, remembering your cookie choice and keeping forms secure. These cannot be switched off and set no identifiers used for advertising.
  • Analytics, anonymous, aggregated statistics about which pages and guides people find useful. Off by default.
  • Marketing, measuring whether an advert or a social post led someone to a helpful page. Off by default.

Changing your mind

Select "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to change your choices at any time. Your preference is stored in your own browser, so clearing your browser data resets it and the banner will appear again.

To ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, email viola@riseupbenefitsgroup.com or call (480) 300-5776. We will respond within a reasonable period. Records we are required to retain under insurance regulations will be kept for as long as those rules require.

Who else is involved

This website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, which processes standard server request logs. Scheduling is handled by our external booking tool, and enrollment is completed on carrier or federal platforms such as HealthCare.gov. Each of those services operates under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with lead-generation companies or data brokers.

Communications

If you ask us to contact you, a licensed agent may call, text or email you about your insurance options. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying, by emailing, or by telling us on the phone, and we will.

Children

This site is intended for adults making insurance decisions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

FAQ

Common questions

Does the Rise Up Benefits Group website use cookies?

Only the strictly necessary ones until you choose otherwise. They remember your cookie choice and keep forms secure, and they set no identifiers used for advertising.

Analytics cookies, which count which pages people find useful, and marketing cookies, which measure whether an advert led someone to a helpful page, are both off by default. They stay off unless you allow them.

How do I change my cookie settings?

Select "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page and change your choices at any time.

Your preference is stored in your own browser. If you clear your browser data, your choice is reset and the cookie banner will appear again the next time you visit.

Do the calculators on this site send my information anywhere?

No. The calculators run entirely in your browser, so the numbers you type into them are not sent anywhere.

The plan finder is different, because it has to look up real plans for your county. The next question explains exactly what it sends.

What does the plan finder send, and does it ask for my name?

It sends your ZIP code, county, age, household size, income estimate and tobacco answer to our own server, which passes them to a licensed plan-data service to find plans for your area.

It does not ask for, and does not send, your name, contact details or any identifier. No third-party service receives anything directly from your browser.

What information do you keep when I fill out the contact form?

Your name and email address, which the form requires so we can reply, plus your phone number and ZIP code if you choose to give them, and whatever you write in the message.

We also record your consent to be contacted, with a timestamp. We use these details to help you with insurance, and for nothing else.

Does Rise Up Benefits Group sell my personal information?

No. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with lead-generation companies or data brokers.

Some outside services are involved in running things: a hosting provider for the website, a booking tool for scheduling, and carrier or federal platforms such as HealthCare.gov for enrollment. Each works under its own privacy policy.

What extra information do you need if I enroll in a plan?

More than the contact form asks for: your date of birth, your Medicare number or Social Security number, your doctors and your prescriptions.

That information is collected during enrollment, held under the privacy rules that apply to licensed insurance producers, and shared only with the insurance company and the enrollment platform needed to process your application.

How do I see, correct or delete the information you have about me?

Email viola@riseupbenefitsgroup.com or call (480) 300-5776 and ask. We will respond within a reasonable period.

One exception: records that insurance regulations require us to keep will be kept for as long as those rules require.

How do I stop calls, texts or emails from Rise Up?

Ask us to stop at any time and we will. You can reply to the message, send us an email, or tell us on the phone.

If you ask us to contact you, a licensed agent may call, text or email you about your insurance options. Telling us to stop works for all three.

We speak insurance, so you don't have to.
